Boys' 7-10 Soccer RegulationsQualifying Players for Finals
To qualify to play in a final a player must have played at least half of the roster matches played by the team contesting the final. In the event of "qualified" players being unable to play a replacement player can be drawn from a nominated list of replacements which has been forwarded to the Roster Secretary once finalists have been determined. This list to be on the pro-forma sheet designed for this purpose. Replacement players are not to be of a higher standard than the competition they are entering. Anomalies in the list of of replacement players will be forwarded to the S. SATIS Chairperson.
Matches will be played under current regulations as applied by Soccer Tasmania subject to variations listed below.
1.The 1st Grade matches will consist of two halves of 40 minutes. 2nd Grade matches will consist of two halves of 40minutes.
2.a) The venue will be decided by the S.SATIS Soccer Sub-Committee.
3.Qualified referees are to be appointed to control matches.
4. a) The "Home" team is responsible for supplying three suitable match balls.
Each school will provide
b) A competent linesman.
c) A team sheet with names and numbers of all players. A maximum of 15 players on each team sheet, allowing four interchange players per team. A minimum of 7 players are required to play a game. All players must have a number on their shirt. Each school is responsible for sending the team sheet to the Roster Secretary
5. In cases where abuse of the interchange rule occurs it has been recommended to referees that, unless in the case of serious injury, that a 5 minute gap between stoppages for interchange be invoked. No team should be disadvantaged if they have the maximum players allowed.
6.Bookings:
a) If a player receives a yellow card a report must be sent to the S.SATIS Soccer Coordinator and forwarded to the SATIS Secretary. If a player collects three yellow cards within an SSATIS season he is automatically suspended for the next match in the SSATIS and Club Roster. The secretary would advise all schools of this.
b) If a player receives a red card he is automatically suspended for the next SSATIS and Club match. Further action is left to the discretion of the school. In all cases a report must be sent to the SSATIS Soccer Coordinator and forwarded to the SATIS Secretary.
Procedure for Reporting Players
(i) The referee will take note of the incident and write details on the team sheet.
(ii) Soccer Tasmania will send a report to the roster secretary.
(iii) The school involved must also report the incident to the roster secretary.
7. Points will be allocated as follows:
Loss - 0 points
Draw - 1 point
Win - 3 points
8. If two schools finish equal on points then ;
a) Points scored between the two schools will decide the winner.
b) If the two teams are still equal, then goal difference will apply to determine the winner.
c) After a) & b) being considered and the two teams are still equal, then a playoff shall be held to determine the winner. The competing schools shall arrange the venue and time for such a play-off and a competent neutral referee shall be appointed.
d) Should a result not be obtained at the end of normal time penalties will decide the winner as set out by Soccer Tasmania.
9. Games Not Played
Any game called off, at the referee's discretion, must be played at a mutually agreed time and venue. If the schools cannot agree the matter will be referred to the Chair. of S.SATIS through the S.SATIS Soccer Coordinator.
